Sarawak's new Sungai Bintangor Bridge, officially launched, symbolizes the state's transformation. Deputy Premier Douglas Uggah Embas highlighted its alignment with the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030, emphasizing economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The RM50.665 million project, featuring a unique single-tower cable-stay design, is the first of its kind in Malaysia. Uggah proposed renaming the bridge in honor of the late Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, wife of Premier Abang Johari.
