The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) issued a stern warning against spreading false information and images of the child involved in the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir. Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail, stressed that sharing inaccurate information not only jeopardizes the ongoing investigation but also obstructs justice. He advised the public to comply with the law and refrain from sharing unverified details, citing relevant sections of the Child Act 2001, Penal Code, and Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for potential legal action.
