‘Malaysiaku Bersama Gaza’ gathering to be held at Dataran Merdeka tomorrow
A gathering called "Himpunan & Selawat Malaysiaku Bersama Gaza" will be held at Dataran Merdeka on August 24th to show support for Palestine and peace in Gaza. Over 100,000 people are expected to attend, including Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The event will feature prayers, a qasidah performance, and the symbolic flag-off of the Sumud Nusantara delegation for the Gaza Flotilla. A solidarity land convoy with over 1,000 vehicles will also converge on Dataran Merdeka. The event is part of the Sumud Nusantara Carnival 2025, which includes exhibitions, a VR Gaza Time Tunnel, and a film screening.
