Downpour halts search for missing senior citizen in Bau
The search for 74-year-old Liew Kim Ped, missing from Kampung Jalan Krian, Tasik Biru since August 12, was hampered by heavy rain. Liew, last seen wearing a brown T-shirt and shorts, was reported missing by his family. The search, initiated on August 13 by Bau fire station with assistance from police, Civil Defence Force, district office, public, and Bomba's K9 unit, covered a 3km radius from his home. It was postponed due to the downpour and will resume the following day.
