Malaysian Couple Fooled By AI Generated Video Of Fake Tourist Spot
An elderly Malaysian couple traveled to Kampung Kuak Hulu, Perak, after seeing an AI-generated video showcasing a non-existent cable car attraction called "Kuak Skyride". The video, believed to be created using Google Veo 3, featured several inconsistencies, including a non-existent TV station, a reporter wearing a down jacket in hot weather, a blank license plate, spelling errors, and unrealistic depictions of people and locations. The video has since been removed but reuploaded by others with warnings.
