Over A Dozen Malaysian Government Websites Reportedly Breached
Over a dozen Malaysian government websites have allegedly been breached, with access being offered for sale on the dark web for US$20,000. The affected sites reportedly include the National Registration Department, MyGovernment portal, Radio Televisyen Malaysia, and several ministries. The offered data allegedly includes VPN access, shell credentials, database access, and file-sharing details. While screenshots were provided as proof, the claims are unverified, and the data's validity and sensitivity remain uncertain. Cybersecurity Malaysia has been notified.
