Sarawak civil service must embrace change to meet 13MP goals, says State Secretary
Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki urged civil servants to adapt to the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) by embracing efficiency, relevance, and responsiveness. He emphasized inclusive, holistic, and sustainable development approaches, advocating for a shift from "business as usual." He introduced the "3R" principles – Revisit, Rethink, and Recharge – to modernize work processes, adopt new strategies, and keep pace with Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg's leadership, aiming for a developed and high-income Sarawak by 2030.
