Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi emphasized the government's commitment to empowering rural communities, particularly in Sabah, through 42 initiatives focused on early childhood education, digital literacy, and character development. These initiatives, under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, include Smart Classroom, Pra-Tahfiz, TVET Tahfiz, and Tabika Tunas Istimewa, aiming to provide equitable and digital education opportunities. Zahid highlighted Sabah's strategic role in Malaysia's future and the importance of ensuring children have strong identities and access to quality education.
