Jatti Miriek clansman takes on role as Pemanca of Miri District
Ujut Rahman has been appointed Pemanca of Miri District, Sarawak, until December 31, 2024. The appointment ceremony, officiated by Sarawak Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, also saw Andara Salleh appointed Penghulu for Bakam, Beraya, and Luak villages, and Rengga Bangkong as chieftain for Rumah Panting. Federal and state dignitaries, including Deputy Health Minister Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni and Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat, witnessed the event at the Miri Resident's Office.
