Penyewa cuba padam api tapi makin marak
Tenants of an apartment in Elite Height Condominium, Bayan Lepas, Penang, escaped a fire that broke out in the afternoon. They initially attempted to extinguish the flames with fire extinguishers and help from neighbors, but were unsuccessful. The fire, which started around 4:16 PM, involved furniture and electrical appliances outside the unit, also affecting part of the building structure with an estimated 40% damage. Firefighters from the Bayan Baru Fire and Rescue Station brought the fire under control by 4:27 PM and fully extinguished it by 4:50 PM. No casualties were reported.
