Sarikei to host Sarawak-level National Day 2025 celebration
Sarikei, Sarawak will host the state-level National Day 2025 celebration on August 31st. Events, running from 7am to 10pm, include a Unity Walk, Town Hall session, the official National Day Celebration Assembly, and a concert. The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, and other dignitaries will attend. The events are coordinated by the Sarawak Protocol, Ceremony and Event Management Unit (UPPANS) and the Sarikei Division Resident’s Office.
