The Jaecoo J5 EV, an electric B-segment SUV, has launched in Thailand after its UK debut. Two variants, Dynamic and Max, are offered with promotional pricing starting at approximately RM71,000 and RM78,000 respectively, for the first 1,000 units. The J5 EV, known as Jaecoo 5 EV in Thailand, boasts a 58.9 kWh battery, enabling a range of up to 461 km (NEDC). It features a 211 PS electric motor, achieving 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. Both variants offer a range of features including dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The Max variant adds features like a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, and ambient lighting.
