Major development projects underway for Lawas
Lawas, Sarawak is undergoing a transformation with several development projects underway, including the Northern Coastal Highway, a new bridge in Kuala Lawas, additional Trusan River Bridge, 30 new shop units, a new district office, residential settlements, the Murud Suang-Long Tengoa road, a new airport, and a jetty in Kuala Lawas for sea transport. Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agong highlighted these projects at the Lawas Cultural Night, emphasizing the importance of community support for their success. The event, organized by Trusan United Community (KUBU), also celebrated the town's historical significance and strong community spirit.
