Johor MB: Over 155,000 premises to receive 15pc rebate after water disruptions
Over 155,000 water consumers in Johor, Malaysia, will receive a 15% rebate on their water bills this month following recent widespread supply disruptions. Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced the rebate after negotiations with Ranhill SAJ, the state water concessionaire. The rebate will apply to residential, commercial, industrial, and religious premises, as well as welfare institutions. Onn Hafiz acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the disruptions, which lasted up to four days in some areas, and apologized to affected residents. A task force has been formed to prevent future incidents.
