MPV Singapura tawar e-hailing haram, caj sampai RM4,200
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, has seized four Singaporean MPVs involved in illegal e-hailing services. The drivers, aged 30-40, were charging exorbitant fees, up to RM4,200 per passenger for trips to Ipoh, targeting foreign tourists including Singaporeans. They used social media platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram to find customers. The vehicles lacked valid permits and road tax.
