The Malaysian Army has deployed over 1,000 personnel to strengthen border control with Thailand. The deployment, involving 60 officers and 1,004 other ranks, stretches from Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah to Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, in collaboration with the Royal Malaysian Police's General Operations Force. New assets including 4x4 vehicles, scrambler motorcycles, ATVs, and drones have been deployed to enhance operations like Ops PAGAR and Ops KOTA. This initiative aims to prevent border intrusions and reinforces the government's commitment to national security.
