A group of Malaysian retirees, including Sonia Lahung and her husband, enjoyed a four-day stay at the 'Blessed Home Retreat' homestay in Long Jawe, Bakun Lake. Run by retired pastor Ucho Ding and his wife, the homestay offers activities like fishing, forest walks, and cultural shows. The scenic boat journey across the lake and Balui River, surrounded by forested slopes and wildlife, captivated the tourists. Sonia, a former teacher, was particularly interested in learning about Long Jawe's history and traditions from Ucho.
