While Azura and seven other women were granted bail, Nasiruddin and 12 others were not.

African Swine Fever (ASF) continues to severely impact Malaysia's pig farming sector, causing a 25% drop in pig farms in Penang alone. The outbreak has forced farmers to reduce livestock numbers, leading to a significant decrease in pork supply and a surge in prices. A whole pig now costs around RM1,800 per 100kg, up from RM1,300-RM1,400 a year ago. The pig population in affected areas has drastically declined, and rising feed costs, particularly for maize, are exacerbating the industry's challenges.

A businessman, Chan Kong San, director of Sentoria Themeparks and Resorts Sdn. Bhd., pleaded not guilty to deceiving the Pahang Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) director about the transfer of three protected wild animals worth RM68,000 three years ago. He allegedly misled authorities by claiming the two white lions and a Eurasian Lynx were being transferred to the Melaka Zoo, when they were actually sold. The alleged deception occurred on March 11, 2021, at the Pahang Perhilitan office. Chan was charged under Section 415 (b) of the Penal Code and granted bail of RM15,000.
