Tauke air sarang burung diperdaya, konon tender IPK Terengganu
A bird's nest drink entrepreneur in Dungun, Terengganu, lost RM12,800 to a scam syndicate posing as Terengganu Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) representatives. The syndicate offered a fake tender for souvenirs, initially ordering 120 bottles of bird's nest drink. The scammer, claiming to be a police officer, presented a fake local order notice, assuring payment after delivery. Later, the scammer connected the victim with a supposed souvenir supplier for decorative krises, leading to the RM12,800 loss through two transactions. The victim realized the scam when attempting a further RM35,000 transaction.
