Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) Corporal Syed Isfan Syed Mohammad, severely injured in a Teluk Intan accident, has undergone three surgeries. His wife, Rasidah Suhada Zulkifli, reported the surgeries addressed his bladder, pelvic bone, and internal organs. His abdomen and chest were operated on due to displaced intestines impacting his lungs, liver, and spleen. Doctors successfully repositioned the organs. Four cracked ribs will heal naturally. His bladder, suffering three leaks and infection, now drains via tubes. A metal plate was inserted into his fractured pelvis, but further hip surgery awaits his stabilization. Two more surgeries are planned, but his wife is grateful for his positive progress and successful handling of potential complications.

Three members of the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) from Ipoh remain in critical condition and unconscious in Teluk Intan Hospital following a road accident on the Chikus-Sungai Lampam road. Hilir Perak district police chief, ACP Dr. Bakri Zainal Abidin, identified the critically injured as Corporal Haslizal Mohd. Ali, Sergeant Mazlan Mat, and Corporal Mohd. Izwan Ishak. Four other officers are conscious and stable. Police and welfare representatives visited the injured officers and their families.

A lorry with brake failure ran a red light at Kilometer 5, Jalan Sitiawan-Lumut, Seri Manjung, colliding with a motorcycle and two cars. The 19-year-old motorcyclist sustained leg injuries and was taken to Seri Manjung Hospital. The lorry driver tested negative for drugs. Police are investigating the incident under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and urge witnesses to contact the investigating officer.
