Eight men aged 18 to 21 were arrested in Sungai Petani for assaulting two teenagers. The attack, involving metal rods and wooden sticks, stemmed from a misunderstanding during a TikTok live stream between one victim and a suspect. The suspects, apprehended on Jalan Jati, allegedly ambushed the victims as they rode home on motorcycles. Both victims, aged 18 and 19, sustained injuries and received treatment at Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital. The suspects are under remand, facing charges under Section 326 and 148 of the Penal Code.

The 41-year-old suspect used various courier services to ship the drugs, disguised in exclusive packaging, and had been active since late last year. The seized drugs could potentially supply approximately 400,000 users. The suspect tested positive for drugs and has a prior criminal record.
