Health Ministry introduces official guidelines to address bullying cases among staff
Malaysia's Health Minister, Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, reinforced the ministry's zero-tolerance policy on workplace bullying, emphasizing its detrimental impact on organizational integrity, motivation, and patient care. He highlighted the ministry's commitment by recalling a previous dismissal of a senior official for bullying. With 430 bullying complaints received through the MyHealth system as of July 31, Dzulkefly assured thorough investigations with fairness, transparency, and confidentiality. New guidelines have been launched to address workplace bullying, making the Health Ministry the first to implement such specific measures.
