Laluan pesisir Pantai Batu Rakit siap dibaiki Oktober depan
The Mengabang Telipot-Batu Rakit road near Kampung Tanjung, which was severely damaged by the Northeast Monsoon earlier this year, is expected to reopen in early October. Repair works on the 280-meter stretch are ahead of schedule and utilize geotextile systems, soil stabilization, and sand filling. The project, costing RM4.95 million from the Malaysian Road Records Information System (MARRIS) allocation, is currently 45.37% complete. An additional RM36 million has been approved to repair the Aring 8-Kenyir-Kuala Jeneris road, also damaged by the monsoon, with repairs expected to begin in November.
