Malaysia has potential to thrive in space economy, leveraging talent and geography, says Mosti deputy sec-gen at LIMA 2025
Malaysia is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing space economy due to its skilled workforce, resources, infrastructure, and strategic equatorial location, which offers advantages for cost-effective rocket launches. Deputy Secretary-General of MOSTI, Datuk Dr Mohd Nor Azman Hassan, highlighted these strengths at the Space Conference during LIMA 2025. The event facilitated partnerships through LOIs between various organizations, including UZMA, SpaceIn, IIUM, MYSA, and IRDA, focusing on space technology development and collaboration.
