The 14th ASEAN-AIPA Interface, held alongside the 46th ASEAN Summit, signifies ASEAN's commitment to strengthening inter-institutional synergy between executive and legislative branches. The meeting provides a strategic platform to align regional priorities through inclusive governance with multi-stakeholder engagement. Chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the session will feature an address by AIPA President Johari Abdul. The theme, "Parliaments Leading Inclusive Growth and Sustainable ASEAN," emphasizes the role of parliaments in achieving Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship agenda, focusing on inclusivity and sustainability through legislative focus on food security, energy transition, digital governance, and climate resilience.
