St Augustine’s Church Mission District at Kpg Mambong elevated to 49th Anglican parish

St Augustine's Church Mission District in Kampung Mambong, Kuching, was officially elevated to parish status within the Anglican Diocese of Kuching. Bishop Danald Jute led the proclamation ceremony attended by around 800 people, including Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Jerip Susil. The elevation aims to strengthen pastoral ministry and foster a sense of community. The new parish comprises six churches and was established in the 1930s.
