ICA deployed more officers and prominently displayed disposal bins, encouraging voluntary surrender without penalty. Authorities are increasing efforts to combat vaping, with stricter penalties for sellers forthcoming. Concerns about Kpods, vapes containing the anaesthetic etomidate, are also rising, with Singapore planning to classify etomidate as a Class C drug.
