Tiang urges Sibu livestock farmers to partner with state government on local feed production

Sarawak's Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Michael Tiang, urged the Sibu Livestock Farmers' Association (SLFA) to collaborate with the government to develop local poultry feed production. This initiative aims to reduce reliance on imported feed and mitigate the impact of volatile international prices. Tiang encouraged exploring Sarawak's land resources and partnering with international research organizations and local universities to achieve breakthroughs in feed production. He also commended farmers adopting technology and automation, offering to be a liaison between them and the Premier.
