Police in Hilir Perak, Malaysia, destroyed 1,500 ketum plants illegally cultivated on 8.09 hectares of government reserve land in Labu Kubong. Acting on intelligence and public complaints about encroachment, the operation was part of an integrated effort to address illegal ketum cultivation and land encroachment. The district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Bakri Zainal Abidin, confirmed the operation.
