The Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, has strongly criticized self-serving civil servants who neglect their duties to the public. He warned them to change their work ethic or face being replaced. The Raja stated that such irresponsible behavior damages the state's reputation and that he has received numerous reports and personally witnessed such conduct.
