SOP REE sudah ada, diedar kepada kerajaan negeri sejak 2023 – Nik Nazmi

The Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRES) has confirmed that standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rare earth element (REE) mining were established and distributed to all state governments on December 20, 2023. Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad refuted allegations by Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, who claimed the SOPs were lacking. This clarifies the government's position on REE mining regulations.
