North Korea is investigating an accident during the launch of a new 5,000-tonne warship. The vessel lost balance, crushing sections of its bottom and causing seawater to enter through the rescue channel. While state media claims the damage is "not serious" and no casualties were reported, leader Kim Jong Un called the incident a "criminal act." Satellite imagery suggests the stern swung out into the harbor while the bow remained on the slipway. Experts estimate repairs will take around two weeks. The shipyard, primarily used for civilian vessels, likely lacks experience with such large warships.
