Liew spoke at the Malaysia Geoparks Network Conference, celebrating Kinabalu Geopark's second anniversary as a UNESCO Global Geopark. She noted Malaysia's growing number of geoparks, including Langkawi and Kinabalu, and the 12 nationally recognized geoparks, contributing to environmental awareness and economic growth through geotourism.
