A 51-year-old man, Chan Chong Cheng, was found dead after his 4x4 vehicle was swept away by strong currents in Sungai Suma, Kuala Betis, Gua Musang. His body was discovered by the search and rescue team (SAR) downstream at 10:20 am. The victim had gone missing after his vehicle was caught in the river's rapid flow.
