Nurul Izzah Anwar has been elected as PKR's new deputy president, defeating incumbent Rafizi Ramli. She secured 9,803 votes in the party election held during the 2024/2025 National Congress. The election also included voting for the Central Leadership Council, Youth, and Wanita wings. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, party leaders, and representatives from other coalition parties attended the congress.
