The Malaysian government, through the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), has allocated RM287.8 million under the Fifth Rolling Plan (RP5) of the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMKe-12) for various water-related projects in Terengganu this year. The allocation covers 27 projects implemented by the Irrigation and Drainage Department. These projects aim to improve water infrastructure and services in the state.
