A 57-year-old man died in Kampung Payung, Setiu, after being bitten by an unidentified venomous animal in his bathroom. The victim, Abdul Kadir Setapa, was found weak by his nephew after his wife, who was at work, was informed of the incident. He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Abdul Kadir had a history of heart disease and asthma. Police are investigating the cause of death and a post-mortem will be conducted.
