Over 400 people participated in the 'Walk A Payung 2025' event in Kuala Lumpur to raise awareness for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) on World Lupus Day. Dressed in purple, participants walked three kilometers around Titiwangsa Lake. The event, organized by the Malaysian SLE Society (PSLEM) and UKM, included an educational booth and the launch of the book "iLawanLupus: A Patient Dialogue". The event aimed to educate the public about SLE, which affects 43 out of every 100,000 Malaysians, and highlight the challenges faced by patients like Mazni Ibrahim, who has lived with SLE for over 20 years.
