A fire broke out on the rooftop of a shoplot in MJC Batu Kawa, Kuching, late last night. The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department responded to a distress call at 10:32 pm and extinguished the fire within 15 minutes. The fire involved rubbish and debris on the rooftop. Overhaul operations were conducted to ensure no remaining ignition sources. No casualties were reported.
