Activist and graphic artist Fahmi Reza was denied entry into Sabah and sent back to Kuala Lumpur after arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Sabah Immigration authorities cited Section 65(1)(a) of the Immigration Act 1959/63, which grants them discretionary power to refuse entry. This follows earlier investigations against Fahmi under the Sedition Act, CMA, and Penal Code for an illustration criticizing Sabah governor Tun Musa Aman. A Native Court also plans to summon him for a caricature deemed insulting to Musa and the people of Sabah.
