Proton has appointed Ainol Azmil as Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective June 10, 2025, reporting to CEO Li Chunrong. Ainol will retain his current responsibilities in Group Corporate Strategy and Technical Procurement. He replaces Roslan Abdullah, who served for five years and oversaw Proton's market strengthening and entry into the electric vehicle market with the Proton e.MAS 7. Proton expressed confidence in Ainol and gratitude to Roslan for his contributions.
