Tangkulap Forest Reserve in Sabah, Malaysia, has been confirmed as the first habitat in the country to house all four native otter species. This includes the smooth-coated, Asian small-clawed, hairy-nosed, and the Eurasian otter, the latter of which hadn't been definitively sighted since 2014. This discovery by Panthera, a global wild cat conservation organization, highlights the region's rich biodiversity and the importance of ongoing conservation efforts.
