At least 30 people have died in northeast India due to flash floods and landslides triggered by two days of monsoon rains. Eight deaths were reported in Assam, nine in Arunachal Pradesh, and five in Mizoram, mostly due to landslides. Disaster management officials are continuing to assess the situation.
