The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president, Datuk Mohd Joehari Mohd Ayub, asserts that State Football Associations (FAs) cannot absolve themselves of responsibility for salary arrears issues within football clubs (FCs). He emphasized that despite operating professionally, most FCs are still owned and governed by FAs. Therefore, FAs remain accountable for addressing wage issues affecting players and staff.
