The Pahang state government has identified human activity and weather as the causes of damage to the 48-kilometer Tuit Road (Kuala Tahan) to Mat Daling. Repairs, costing RM365 million and funded by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, began in 2021. State Public Works, Transport, and Health Committee Chairman, Datuk Ir. Razali Kassim, stated that investigations confirmed these factors.
