Malaysian Battalion 850-12 (Malbatt) performed the Qurban (sacrificial ritual) in Marakah Camp, South Lebanon, strengthening ties with the local community. The Aidiladha ritual reflects Malbatt's commitment to Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) within the UNIFIL peacekeeping mission. 48 goats were sacrificed, with 26 donated to local NGOs and villagers. The event fostered camaraderie amongst troops and locals, highlighting the spirit of sacrifice and goodwill.
