A UPSI student, Mohamad Alif Nasnawi, discovered his two friends, Nur Ayuni Maslan and Muhammad Adib Hazim Halim, were among the 15 students killed in a bus crash. He had texted them the night before, unaware it would be his last contact. The students were returning to campus from the East Coast after Aidiladha celebrations. The chartered bus collided with an MPV on the East-West Highway near Gerik. The accident has shocked the nation.
