Chery previewed the Omoda C7 crossover SUV at MAS 2025, marking its upcoming launch in Malaysia under the new Omoda | Jaecoo brand. Design details include shard LED headlights, a honeycomb grille, and zig-zag LED taillights. The C7 shares specifications with the Jaecoo J7, including dimensions (2,700 mm wheelbase, 4,621 mm length) and a potential hybrid powertrain featuring a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and electric motor, producing 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. A BYD-sourced 18.3-kWh battery may offer up to 95 km of electric range. Pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
