Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is investigating the MyKiosk project following allegations of corruption and misappropriation in the tender process. The investigation, initiated after a complaint by Selangor MCA Youth, will focus on potential corruption and procedural breaches. Housing Minister Nga Kor Ming has denied claims that the project, intended to provide affordable trading spaces for the B40 group and SMEs, is a wasteful venture. As of December 2024, 7,243 MyKiosk units have been approved nationwide.
