The authenticity of the post, which alleges breaches of over a dozen government websites including ministries and agencies like the National Registration Department, is unverified. NACSA is working with relevant authorities to confirm the claims, noting that some information appears inaccurate and may be recycled old data. The alleged asking price is US$20,000 in Monero. CyberSecurity Malaysia is also aware and preparing an advisory on data breach prevention.
